Event information

Welcome! This year’s competition will be held on April 21st and 22nd. We will once again be on the UNLV campus. This is our 30th year, and after being dormant for three years, we can not wait to see everyone again! Join us for the American and International style individual events, multi-events, Formation teams, and Team matches!

Date: Friday, April 21 (5-10PM) and Saturday, April 22 (9AM-10PM)
Location: UNLV – Paul McDermott Physical Education Complex (MPE; South Gym); 4505 S Maryland Pkwy, Las Vegas, NV 89154
Admission ticket fees: Friday ($5) and Saturday ($10)

Registration

We are utilizing an online registration process for the first time this year! Before registering, please read the competition instructions. If you have any questions, please contact the organizer. 

Entry deadline: Sunday, April 9, 2023, 11:59PM PDT; Post-deadline submissions will require a $10 late fee (unless stated otherwise) plus the entry fee.

Please note:

  1. Same-sex partners are allowed in the syllabus events.
  2. The Open Events and the American and International Team Matches are open to everyone, regardless of your dance level.

Reminders

Music

  • Formation teams and Cabaret couples: Your music must be submitted on either flash drive or CD.

Changes from 2017 and 2018!

  • Competitors may enter two consecutive levels in the syllabus events only!
  • Multi-dance events are still limited to only one level.
  • Open work will be allowed at the Gold level.
  • The Theater Arts has been renamed Cabaret.

Sponsors

Any monetary and non-monetary donations are appreciated. In addition, sponsorship advertising is available at our event, starting at $50.

Volunteers

Volunteers are needed for various jobs during and after the event (Friday – Sunday). If you work a two-hour shift, you will receive a free admission ticket for that day.

Spectators

Spectators can purchase admission tickets at the door with cash or credit card payments.

Friday (5-10PM):  $5
Saturday (9AM-10PM): $10
